16MM Found Footage Workshop

The audience collaborated to create a short art film using 16mm found footage. The film was then performed with a live musician.

Experiments on 16MM

Short Film Screening

A screening of selected contemporary 16mm films from across the globe, made by artists and filmmakers; as well as selected 60-on-16 films (60 second films) produced by the festival, with support from Kodak.

 

Hip Hip Hurray

A screening of Prakash Jha’s Hip Hip Hurray, shot on 16mm.

 

EK-Minute Competition

The first ever Ek-Minute film competition, produced by Harkat Studios in collaboration with Kodak. Five selected scripts were produced into 1-min silent films, shot on a 16mm camera.

The films were screened for the first time the following year, at the 16mm Film Festival 2018, accompanied with live sound-scaping/music.
